Because Microsoft PhotoDraw supports the Adobe Photoshop plug-in filter interface, you can install and use many 32-bit plug-in filters from popular third-party programs and vendors. Plug-in filters use an .8BF file extension.
If the Plug-ins workpane is open, close it.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Plug-ins tab.
In the Additional plug-in directory box, type the path to the folder where you keep your plug-in software.
You can also click Browse to find the folder on your computer.
Click OK.
The Plug-ins workpane on the Effects menu now contains the plug-in effects you added. Apply a plug-in effect
Notes
You can also use your plug-in filter's installation program to install plug-in files in the \Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\PhotoDraw\PlugIns folder. If PhotoDraw is open when you install the plug-ins, you must restart it before you can use the plug-ins.
Although PhotoDraw supports Photoshop-compatible filter plug-ins, it does not support import or export plug-ins.
For more information about plug-ins, see the PhotoDraw Readme file.
